Mike.

Mike Scott has been a resident of Bainbridge Island since 1989. Mike’s children—Anna, Lizzie, and John—each graduated from Bainbridge High School. Mike was previously elected to serve on the Bainbridge Island School District Board.

Mike has degrees from Stanford University in Political Science and Biology, and a law degree from Stanford Law School. He has been practicing law for over 30 years. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Tomorrow program, and has been an active volunteer over the years with several non-profit organizations, including serving on the boards of Elderhealth Northwest (now Full Life Care) and the Pride Foundation. He has also been an active member of Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church and now Grace Episcopal Church.

Mike was appointed to a vacant position on the Bainbridge Island City Council in January 2015. He is delighted and honored to return to public service as a member of the City Council.

If elected to a full term on the Bainbridge Island City Council,  Mike will work collegially, collaboratively, and creatively with the other members of the Council, the City Manager, City staff, and the voters of Bainbridge Island to make the best decisions we can for our City—to protect and enhance our community’s social, economic, and environmental well-being.

Mike and his fiance, Cullen Brady, live in Winslow.
